Asus released two new mobile phones yesterday, the J208 slider and M310 clamshell. The Asus M310 flip phone is one of the Asus M series with music controls on the outside of the flip. It has a QVGA display and plays 3gp video at 15 fps. It comes with a 2MP CCD camera with self timer. The M310 can store up to 1000 contacts and sync to Outlook. The Asus J208 is a tri-band GSM phone thats 0.67 inches thin with slide-out dial pad. It has a 1.9″ TFT screen with resolutions of 176 x 220. It comes with a 2MP camera with 64MB memory to store photos. Micro SD card slot for more storage. The J208 has built-in Bluetooth with HID support, 5 way directional pad.

Neo is all set to launch a new generation of mobile phones that are fashionable to own and technologically advanced to use. Currently in talks with global distributors and networks, Neo phones are slated for a March 2007 launch in the Middle East and will be available in Europe by April.

Pantech

The Pantech PG-8000 is designed with a sophisticated digital camera (‘dica’) look, which features a 2 mega pixel camera and a wide and horizontal LCD display, as well as WAP and JAVA systems. It also comes with an MP3 player, QVGA screen, and 'text to speech' feature, in which your incoming texts can be read out by an-board voice synthesizer.

Motorola

Motorola is expanding its ROKR mobile phone portfolio with the introduction of three new music-optimized devices. The lineup includes MOTOROKR EM30, a candybar phone using MotorolaÃ's ModeShift technology, ROKR EM28, a clamshell device with sonic features and touch-sensitive keys, and ROKR EM25, a slider with FM radio sharing capabilities.

I-mate 810-F

The i-mate 810-F is ruggedised quad-band Internet-enabled Windows Mobile smartphone. Its name comes from the US military standards for environment tests, MIL-STD-810. I-mate claims the 810-F can withstand temperature extremes of up to 60 degree and -20 degree celsius. It is also waterproofed to 1 metre, and shockproof.

It has a rubber exterior, with a filter over the earpiece to maintain waterproofing. Metal screws are exposed so you can check the factory seals have been maintained, and there is a small plastic stylus located in a slot at the back of the phone. The 810-F features a QWERTY-keyboard, a 2.45-inch 320x240 pixel touchscreen and a five-way clickable navigation pad.

It runs the Window Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, with Internet Explorer 6. It offers a digital compass, A-GPS features and a three-axis accelerometer. There is also a 2MP fixed focus camera and 2 GB of RAM. There's no microSD slot to maintain its environmental coherence. Connectivity includes GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA, plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0.

I-mate provides a lifetime guarantee for the 810-F (subject to warranty terms and conditions, registration and annual service plan). The company’s Secure i-Q service also enables you to remotely lock, wipe or alarm the 810-F if it’s lost or stolen via a web application.

Pocket PC

A Pocket PC, abbreviated P/PC or PPC, is a hardware specification for a handheld-sized computer (Personal digital assistant) that runs the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system. It may have the capability to run an alternative operating system like NetBSD, Linux, Android or others. It has many of the capabilities of modern desktop PCs.

Currently there are thousands of applications for handhelds adhering to the Microsoft Pocket PC specification, many of which are freeware. Some of these devices also include mobile phone features. Microsoft compliant Pocket PCs can also be used with many other add-ons like GPS receivers, barcode readers, RFID readers, and cameras.

In 2007, with the advent of Windows Mobile 6, Microsoft dropped the name Pocket PC in favor of a new naming scheme. Devices without an integrated phone are called Windows Mobile Classic devices instead of Pocket PCs. Devices with an integrated phone and a touch screen are called Windows Mobile Professional devices and devices without a touch screen are called Windows Mobile Standard devices.

HTC Touch Dual

The HTC Touch Dual, also known by its codename, HTC Nike, is a Windows Mobile-powered PDA Phone. It is designed and manufactured by HTC and was announced in October 2007 and released in November that year.

HTC Touch Pro

The HTC Touch Pro (also known as the HTC Raphael) is a luxury smart phone part of the Touch series of Internet-enabled Windows Mobile Pocket PC smartphones designed and marketed by High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. It is an enhanced version of the HTC Touch Diamond with the addition of a left-side slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, and a camera flash.

The Touch Pro smartphone's functions include those of a camera phone and a portable media player in addition to text messaging and multimedia messaging. It also offers Internet services including e-mail, instant messaging, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. Depending on its market, it is a Quad band GSM or Quad-band UMTS phone with GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, and HSUPA or a tri-band CDMA phone with 1xEV-DO Rev A. All versions feature TouchFLO 3D - a new enhanced version of the TouchFLO interface, unique only to the latest Touch series. In March 2009, HTC announced a new version, the Touch Pro 2 which has a larger screen (3.6") and a redesigned slide out (and tilted) qwerty keyboard with spaces between the keys.

HTC Titan

The HTC Titan is an EVDO Rev. A Windows Mobile 6.1 Pocket PC phone manufactured by High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. It is the successor to the HTC Apache upon which it improves by adding more ROM, GPS, EVDO Rev. A, additional hard keys, a scroll-wheel, spring-loaded keyboard, and a higher resolution camera. The Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system is the latest version, and includes Office Mobile along with HTML email through Microsoft Outlook Mobile. Windows Media Player is included, allowing the Titan to act as a digital audio and digital movie player.

HTC TyTN II

The HTC TyTN II (also known as the HTC Kaiser and the HTC P4550) is an Internet-enabled Windows Mobile Pocket PC smartphone designed and marketed by High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. It has a tilting touchscreen with a left-side slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The TyTN II's functions include those of a camera phone and a portable media player in addition to text messaging and multimedia messaging. It also offers Internet services including e-mail, instant messaging, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. It is a quad-band GSM phone with GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, and HSUPA.

HTC P4350

The HTC P4350 is a Pocket PC smartphone manufactured by High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) of Taiwan. It is also known as the HTC Herald, T-Mobile Wing, and XDA Terra. An updated model running Windows Mobile 6, the HTC P4351, has been sold as the HTC Atlas. It features a right-side QWERTY slide and runs the Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 Pocket PC Phone Edition operating system.

HTC Magic

HTC Magic (Codename: HTC Sapphire) is a smartphone designed by HTC. It is the second handset by HTC that uses the Android operating system (the first being the HTC Dream). It was unveiled by Vodafone on 17 February 2009 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.^[1] It will be available in April, initially exclusive to Vodafone customers in the UK, Spain, Germany and France (SFR) and non-exclusively in Italy, with more countries to follow.The device will be available in North America through T-Mobile USA.

Vodafone has exclusive rights to sell the HTC Magic, but only in the markets they service. At the 2009 Mobile World Congress, reps at the HTC kiosk said no US carriers were confirmed. However at the same convention, Google demonstrated a few new features of the Android operating system on an HTC Magic with T-Mobile branding. The T-Mobile branded version of the Magic equipped with T-Mobile USA's 3G frequency bands was passed by the FCC on March 26, 2009.

HTC TyTN

The HTC TyTN (also known as the HTC Hermes and the HTC P4500) is an Internet-enabled Windows Mobile Pocket PC smartphone designed and marketed by High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. It has a touchscreen with a left-side slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The TyTN's functions include those of a camera phone and a portable media player in addition to text messaging and multimedia messaging. It also offers Internet services including e-mail (including Microsoft's DirectPush push e-mail solution, as well as BlackBerry services with applications provided by BlackBerry-partnered carriers), instant messaging, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. It is a quad-band GSM phone with GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, and HSDPA. It is a part of the first line of phones directly marketed and sold by HTC. On AT&T/Cingular, the TyTN was the successor to the HTC Wizard, known as the Cingular 8125. Also on AT&T, the TyTN was superseded by the HTC TyTN II, known as the AT&T 8925 and the AT&T Tilt.

HTC Universal

The HTC Universal is a Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC phone, manufactured by High Tech Computer Corporation. It was the first 3G/UMTS-enabled Pocket PC phone, and also the first to come with Windows Mobile 5.0 pre-installed.

It is sold by many different vendors under the names of O2 xda Exec, Orange SPV M5000, Dopod 900, Qtek 9000, T-Mobile MDA Pro, I-mate JasJar, Vodafone v1640, Vodafone VPA IV, E-Plus PDA IV, etc. Despite all the different model names and housing appearance, they all have identical hardware specifications with small differences in the external color and branding.

The most eye-catching feature of this device is its 180-degree swivel screen, allowing a quick swap between portrait mode and landscape mode. The GUI automatically adjusts screen orientation accordingly.

HTC Touch Cruise

The HTC Touch Cruise, also known as the HTC P3650 or its codename the HTC Polaris 100, is a Windows Mobile 6-powered Pocket PC. It is designed and manufactured by HTC and was first released in January 2008. In January 2009, HTC announced a completely redesigned device, also called the HTC Touch Cruise. It was the first device to feature HTC Footprints.

HTC Prophet

The HTC Prophet is a combined Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and mobile telephone manufactured by HTC.

It was released onto the UK market by Orange UK in April 2006 under the name Orange SPV M600. It is also available on other networks as the Qtek S200 or the i-mate JAMin.

HTC Touch

The HTC Touch, also known as the HTC P3450 or its codename the HTC Elf, is a Windows Mobile 6-powered Pocket PC designed and manufactured by HTC. Its main, unique feature is a user interface named TouchFLO that detects a sweeping motion and can distinguish between a finger and a stylus. TouchFLO incorporates stylus-free access to a music player, a photo album, a video player and a picture-based contact book. The global launch of the Touch was in Leicester Square, London, on June 5, 2007 (2007-06-05) , and the phone was initially available in two colours: black and green. The carrier bound names for this phone include Verizon Wireless XV6900, T-Mobile MDA Touch, O2 XDA Nova, Okta Touch and Vodafone VPA Touch.

In November 2007, HTC started to sell an "Enhanced" Touch, also known as the HTC P3452 or its codename the HTC Elfin, with double the RAM and ROM of the original version (128MB and 256MB respectively). The newer version is also available in two new colors: white and burgundy.

HTC Dream

The HTC Dream (also marketed as T-Mobile G1 in Europe and the US) is an Internet-enabled smartphone with an operating system designed by Google and hardware designed by HTC. It is the first (and as of April 2009, the only) phone to the market that uses the Android mobile device platform.The phone is part of an open standards effort of the Open Handset Alliance. It was released in the US on October 22, 2008, in the UK on October 30, 2008,and will be available in other European countries including Austria, Netherlands, France and the Czech Republic in early 2009. It was released in Germany in February 2009 with a QWERTZ keyboard. As of March 10, 2009 it is available in Poland under a local mobile brand affiliated with T-Mobile as Era G1.In the US, it is priced starting at $179.99 for new and existing T-Mobile customers if purchased with a two-year T-Mobile voice and data plan, and $399 without a contract.Contrary to claims made by T-Mobile representatives, the handset does not need the data plan to work, however, the Access Point Name (APN) settings need to be changed to make the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS-Picture Messages) work. The Dream comes in black, bronze (not in the UK), or white.

On 5 February 2009, the phone was released through Optus in Australia, as the HTC Dream. On 21 February 2009, Singapore became the first country in Asia to introduce the phone. It was sold by SingTel between $25 – $159 under various contracts.

Telefonica will also launcha version of the phone in Spainwith slightly modified control buttons.

HTC Wizard

The HTC Wizard (also known as the HTC Prodigy and the HTC P4300) is an Internet-enabled Windows Mobile Pocket PC smartphone designed by High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. It has a touchscreen with a left-side slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Wizard's functions include those of a camera phone and a portable media player in addition to text messaging and multimedia messaging. It also offers Internet services including e-mail, instant messaging, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity.

It is a quad-band GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE. There are variants which differ in the design of the case, the keyboard and the presence of an on-board camera. On AT&T/Cingular, the Wizard was superseded by the HTC TyTN, known as the AT&T/Cingular 8525. On T-Mobile USA, the Wizard was superseded by the HTC Atlas, known as the T-Mobile Wing.

HTC Blue Angel

The HTC Blue Angel is a Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition PDA-phone, manufactured by High Tech Computer Corporation. It is sold by many different vendors under the names of O2 XDA IIs, Orange SPV M2000, Dopod 700, Qtek 9090, T-Mobile MDA III, Siemens SX66, i-mate PDA2k, Verizon XV6600, Sprint PPC-6601 among others. Despite all the different model names and housing appearance, they all have similar hardware specifications.
